The atmospheric survival horror Bleak Haven from Hitori De Productions has just received its first full trailer, showcasing brutal combat, unsettling environments, and a dark, cinematic story. Built with Unreal Engine 5, the game draws inspiration from titles like Resident Evil, The Ritual, and Bloodborne.
The story follows Tyler, a young man searching for his missing brother on a cursed island riddled with cults and deadly rituals. Instead of answers, he finds nightmarish horrors. The trailer features moody streets, cinematic sequences, close-quarters combat with stylish finishers, gunplay, and puzzle-solving.
Bleak Haven is a single-player horror experience focused on atmosphere and visual storytelling. Players will wield melee weapons, perform unique finishing moves, and explore creepy locations full of documents and cryptic symbols.
The game does not yet have a release date, but a playable demo is expected in the coming month.
Bleak Haven is created by a solo developer from Poland, known online as Hitori. As he claims, he handles every aspect of development himself — from coding to design and story. He previously released the psychological horror games Supernormal and Supernatural, and now aims for his most ambitious project yet with Bleak Haven.
