Little Nightmares III launches October 10
25/06/25

Bandai Namco and Supermassive Games have officially announced the release date for Little Nightmares III. The game is set to launch on October 10, 2025, for PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and the new Switch 2.

The announcement came alongside a brand-new trailer titled “You’re in for a Ride,” showcasing one of the game’s haunting new environments — Carnevale, a twisted amusement park filled with eerie details and the series' signature visual style. The trailer introduces returning gameplay elements as well as new features like puzzle-solving and cooperation between the two protagonists, Low and Alone.

In addition, a short gameplay trailer was revealed, showcasing cooperative gameplay mechanics, tool usage (such as a bow and a wrench), environmental interaction, and how the AI companion behaves during solo play.

For the first time in the series, online co-op will be supported. Players can experience the full game together, while solo players will be accompanied by an AI-controlled partner.

The developers also confirmed that owners of the original Little Nightmares on PC, PlayStation, or Xbox will receive a free upgrade to the Enhanced Edition (for the original game) when Little Nightmares III launches. Digital pre-orders are now available.

The game promises to continue the eerie, fairy tale–inspired horror atmosphere the series is known for, with more mysterious locations, chilling enemies, and emotional storytelling. In addition to Carnevale, players will explore places like the abandoned desert city of Necropolis and a mysterious candy factory.
