Why Early Access?

“As a solo dev I absolutely need quality feedback and time to refine the game after its been put in your hands! Great feedback can only happen when people are already playing.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Progress speed is extremely hard to estimate as a single developer. I expect at least 8-12 months. My aim is deliver a great game - this can take time. Expect frequent meaningful updates with a fully transparent development process.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The game will enter Early Access with most major core features implemented and a fully playable experience with character growth and progression, as well as enough content to keep the game fresh.

The game will exit Early Access (v 1.0) with much more content and new secondary features. It will also include iteration on the combat system and many balancing changes. New content includes more traits, items, arenas, backstories, events and more. New features include controller support, localisations, completely new game modes and more. A full list and roadmap can be found on the Official Discord channel.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“All major core features are complete and a significant amount of content is completed and in-game. Complex physics based combat, a roguelite experience with progression and RPG features such as skills and customisable equipment. All features listed in the 'About' section are already implemented. My goal was to enter Early Access properly with a fully playable game that could have been released in full.
Balancing issues and bugs may (will) of course exist and will be ironed out over time.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price will likely remain consistent at full release.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I personally read almost all feedback and really take suggestions to heart - just ask the Discord community! I feel I have taken the game as far as I can on my own, now - together with the Steam and Discord community - I hope to shape the game to its final state.”
