Cortopia Studiosand publisher Beyond Frames Entertainment have officially announced a new virtual reality game set in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles universe. Titled TMNT: Empire City, the game is in development for SteamVR, with a release planned for 2026.

The Turtles Return in VR

The story takes place after the fall of Shredder, as the Foot Clan rises to take control of New York City. Players will step into the shells of Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, or Michelangelo to take back the streets and fight a new wave of enemies.

  • First-person melee combat, featuring each Turtle’s iconic weapon
  • Freedom of movement with parkour elements across rooftops and alleys
  • Co-op for up to 4 players, as well as a full single-player campaign
  • Familiar villains and new threats from the TMNT universe

What We Know

The game is being developed by the creators of Down the Rabbit Hole and Wands. TMNT: Empire City promises fast-paced action and cooperative gameplay, wrapped in a visual style inspired by the classic TMNT comics.
