Rockstar Games has officially announced a major new update for GTA Online, titled Money Fronts, set to launch on June 17, 2025. This summer expansion brings a brand-new system that lets players launder illicit earnings through legitimate businesses — known as "fronts" — adding a fresh layer of strategy to building a criminal empire.
Players will be able to purchase and operate fronts like a car wash in Strawberry, a dispensary on Vespucci Beach, and even a helicopter tour company. These businesses serve as both passive income generators and a cover for illegal operations. Managing the heat level will be crucial — too much criminal activity will attract unwanted police attention, requiring clean money to cool things down.
The update will also introduce five new vehicles, including the sporty Karin Everon RS, the Överflöd Suzume supercar (early access for GTA+ members), the Declasse Tampa GT muscle car, and the Western Police Bike, which comes with new Highway Patrol missions that let you play as a cop.
In addition to new content, Rockstar is rolling out several quality-of-life improvements. These include expanded support for the Missile Lock-On Jammer (available on 50 more vehicles), the ability to skip cutscenes when replaying missions, slower global alerts during sell missions in public lobbies, and permanent double Arena Points.
Money Fronts will be available across all platforms — PC, PlayStation, and Xbox. With its mix of new gameplay systems, vehicles, and long-requested improvements, it’s shaping up to be one of GTA Online’s biggest updates of 2025.
